​What is the process for getting a DNA test?

1.) Book Your Appointment: All appointments are scheduled online. Payment is required at the time of booking. We do not accept cash or walk-in appointments.

2.) Receive Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your appointment details.

3.) Attend Your Appointment: For Legal paternity tests, ID is required for all parties being tested age 18 and over. Be sure to bring a valid government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or military ID. Legal paternity tests cannot be performed without a valid ID.

4.) Sample Collection: A cheek swab sample will be collected from all parties involved in the test. For Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity tests, a blood sample from the mother is required. 

5.) Lab Processing: Your test samples will be shipped promptly to our accredited laboratory for processing.

6.) Receive Results: Results will be available within 7-10 business days after your appointment. Results will be sent to you via email.

Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) Testing:

You must be at least 7 weeks pregnant to perform NIPP testing. We cannot perform NIPP testing in the following cases: twins or multiple fetuses, in vitro fertilization, egg donation, surrogacy, related alleged fathers (unless both are willing to be tested), or cases of incest.

What if the alleged father is a minor?

If the alleged father is a minor, consent from a legal parent/guardian is required. The legal parent/guardian must be present at the appointment to provide consent for the minor to be tested. 

Can I receive my test results by phone?

No, results will not be provided over the phone. Results can only be sent via email. 

Will my privacy be protected?

Absolutely. We take client privacy very seriously. We will not release any information about your case without your authorization. We will follow any special instructions you provide for communicating with you or other parties involved in your test. 

Reschedule/Refund Policy:

Please note, all sales are final. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. We offer one complimentary reschedule if requested more than 24 hours before your original appointment. If you need to reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, an additional fee will apply. If you choose to cancel your appointment without rescheduling, your payment will be forfeited. No-shows will be treated as cancellations. Additionally, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled.
